Baptism
Baptism is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, and it is a joyous occasion for families as they welcome their child into the Christian community.
In Tubberclair Parish, we celebrate baptisms with great warmth and reverence. If you would like to arrange a baptism, please contact the parish office at (090) 6485103. We will guide you through the preparation process and help you choose a suitable date for the ceremony. Please note that a minimum of one week’s notice is required.
Our Baptism Group is at hand and ready to help parents prepare for the Baptism of their children. For more information about what is involved in this preparation and to find out dates and times of these meetings please ring Sabrina on (086) 8830253.

Prayer for a Child's Baptism
"Lord God, we thank You for the gift of life and for bringing this child into the community of faith.
Through the waters of baptism, may this child be reborn in Your love and grace.
Guide this child’s parents, godparents, and all those entrusted with their care, that they may lead them to follow You faithfully.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
